This shrub is considered a low water plant. It is native to Texas and Mexico and does quite well in Phoenix, Arizona. There are many colors to choose from and loves the sun.

We purchased them for their incredible color and they can take the heat. Salvia greggi is a species of sage and is often called Autumn Sage. It can grow 3 feet wide and high and is available in varies shades of red, pink, fuchsia and purple.
