Alcazar Gardens
Photos were taken in the month of November.
The Alcazar Gardens is a small formal garden within Balboa Park next to the Art Institute. The garden design mimics the gardens of Alcazar Castle in Seville, Spain. The symetrical design and the star shaped turquoise fountains are sure to catch your eye in this space.
The garden is completely bordered by boxwood hedges, within these hedges thousands of annuals are planted to offer year round color. While we visited there was a lot of lavendar.

From this garden you have a beautiful view of Balboa Park architecture and some of the largest trees.
