Indigo Dwarf Butterfly Bush in Phoenix Arizona

Photo taken in March

First bloom taken end of April

This bush is suppose to bloom in the summer, I look forward to watching it grow and will post photos as soon as I see some blooms. The leaves are very slender and delicate. Flower buds were apparent in the month of April.Flowers should be showy spikes of lilac-blue. Hopefully this will attract the butterflies. Mature height should be at 5 ft. tall, 5 ft. wide. This bush was planted in the fall of 2008.

By the end of April you can see the dainty flowers are just about to burst open.
