Pentas are beautiful addition to your butterfly or hummingbird garden. The star shaped flowers are considered an annual in most parts of the country. Here in our Phoenix Arizona garden the Pentas did freeze, I deadheaded them and they came back once the weather was a little warmer. I have often observed the butterflies and the hummers gravitating towards this plant.
