This delicate accent plant has pretty spiked foliage year round and produces delicate lavendar flowers in the spring and fall. Although the name Society Garlic implies that this is a garlic plant it is in fact not a true garlic plant. This doesn't seem to matter though because it defintely has a pungent garlic smell to it if you brush up against it or if it breaks. This pungent smell provides a natural deterrant to aphids, so it is planted near my Roses.
