The Southeast half of Wisconsin gardening climate is perfect for many perennials and bulbs. Their growing season is late April-October, with hot humid summers and cold winters.

USDA Gardening Zone 4-5, Sunset Zone 41

Both Madison and Milwaukee have some great spots to view flowers

Madison's Olbrich Gardens is located

Photos at Olbrich Gardens were taken in the month of July, not all the same year.

If you would like to visit Olbrich Botanical Garden in Madison,WI:

Address: 3330 Atwood Ave

Hours: Open daily 365 days a year

Admission:Free

Please check their website for the most up to date information

Website: Olbrich Gardens

If visiting Milwaukee check out "The Domes" or Mitchell Park Conservatory, which I just recently realized was the official name of this spot. The Domes are pretty much impossible to miss-the architecture is exactly as named three domes housing different types of flowers and trees.

Photos were taken in the fall, I am not positive of the month, most likely September.
